Man don’t even get me started on KDH, what a Make A Wish signing. Feels like Carney’s about to just get passed by unfortunately. I think if he had shown better against Conference League opponents he might’ve been able to make a better claim to stick around for another window or two, but alas.

I understand people hang ups with Chiwell, but Chuk has genuinely been straight up bad against mediocre competition for awhile now. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if he gets back up to speed elsewhere, but he’s been straight up poor here since essentially that Liverpool game

Meltdown might be a bit much lol, but you can just tell whenever anything in the Premier League goes their way, either from their own winning or indirectly through others he just shoots off a ton of snarky or dismissive tweets off in a row and you can just tell the success is making him squirm a tad

I hear you, and I’m partially with you. Was against the hire from the beginning and wasPoch fan. Same defensive concerns as you. But at some point, winning is winning, and winning a lot is real nice lol. Still afraid to get too excited, loss against Spurs would have me dubious, but so far so good.

I’m not trying to convince you one way or another, I know of people who’s opinion I respect, such as @kierdoyle.bsky.social or @dmitry.mclachbot.com who say the numbers show one thing. Was just curious as to your own, personal bar. Cheers.

Curious, is there any level of success this season outside of winning the league that would have you like, “Damn, maybe I misjudged Maresca/I don’t like it, but hard to argue with results”
