the Director has stated that the first 3 episodes ARE rushed in this fashion because there was a hard canonpoint they were contracted to reach by episode 3. we should see things leveling out going forward. but also, it's a lot of info at once, yes. the webnovel is very dense with info

it's literally based on a webnovel that was published online in 2018. the first couple of episodes are a bit rushed due to a hard canonpoint the production company was forced to reach by episode 3, but it's not AI slop.

it's heavily influenced by Bloodborne, One Piece, and Victorian Literature. the author Cuttlefish Who Loves Diving actually is a huge nerd about all three. and it's actually a lot better than the original comment made it out like, even if it's technically accurate.

so one thing to bear in mind is that you're not SUPPOSED to get everything immediately. you are being fed a lot of info like drinking straight from a firehose and it's supposed to feel like that. even KLEIN doesn't know wtf is going on. he fakes it till he makes it.
