Just occurred to me - and this is dark - the 10,000 new ICE agents will become an army protecting wealth. As AI automates jobs, and with the safety net of SNAP, Medicaid etc gone, more and more people will be forced to turn to violence or to die from poverty. ICE will jail these people (you&me).

So now I have to be all pro 2nd amendment??? Yuck. I want peace, diversity, and liberty but now I have to learn about how to fight state-sanctioned violence against the working class. ICE is bad. We are in evil times.

I don’t know what has to happen for the general public to understand that Trump is a dictator. Not a would-be; but an actual. The USA has undergone a MAGA coup. The 3 branches of the government have chosen not to follow the constitution.

The republican budget bill codifies state violence against the poor and working class. By defunding health and human services, cutting taxes for the rich, and funding ICE, we catch a glimpse of the future where the poor will be jailed. Those on the fringe will be made poor.

Let us be clear: this is an attempt at ethnic cleansing. Our unjust immigration laws have cemented an apartheid regime for immigrants. This is an attack on workers and organized labor. Trump does not believe in the right of LA to exist as a multicultural, migrant, working-class city.

Why don’t the aggressors have the same rules? EX: Trump regime is breaking laws, diminishing the USA globally, and hurting 99% of the individuals (whether they know it or not) AND with majority disapproval. YET we have to wait until 2028 to fire them. WHY?? Can we recall the last election?
