I discovered I really loved photography in 2024. I always got nodding permission for people pictures, especially children. That particularly applied in Morocco where one of the groip took a photo of a woman without asking and the husband stood over her until it was deleted. Elephants were simpler!

Cambodia was probably my favourite destination in 2024. Hopefully going back with a group in November 2025 to volunteer in the Wildlife sanctuary and spend a few days building wheelchairs for landmine survivors. I didn’t think anywhere would beat Vietnam but Cambodia is enchanting

A couple of photos from my visit to the Moken Sea Gypsies of Koh Payam in Thailand Nov ‘24. They can see underwater but their way of life is disappearing. Instead of catching fish- they fish for plastic. There’s nothing left in the waters around the island. What have we done to the world!
