I went inside the hospital noise tube without music, and was glad for that. The machine made a really well tuned I-IV-I sequence for a while, before adding a really high bpm square wave kick. Like Stereolab doing gabber. I felt inspired to make music. The locked piano in the lobby is such a tease.

Circumstances have conspired so that least stupid option for what to with my Saturday morning was: open a joint checking account with my ex so that she could deposit a check. Lol but also fml. Gonna be a bug for a minute, bugs don't know about checking accounts.

This beautiful bird steadfastly refused to let me photograph it head-on, and I respect that. No idea what it is, beyond some sort of diving duck? These fellas were considerably smaller than Mallards.

Just sold the last bike from the years when I was obsessed with bicycles. In retrospect, it was an autistic special interest. I lived and breathed it, loved every minute of building it to my exact needs. It's sad to let it go, but I can't ride anymore, and have to keep moving.

I only saw one fungus in the forest, and it was being eaten by a slug. I assume the others got eaten by slugs too:
