Having installed Linux a few days ago, for the first time, I’ve seen a couple of these messages, “…. something something kernel panic …”, and “…essential packages will be removed …”.
I didn’t break my system, but I did re-install once.

The future is non-combustion propulsion, and mandated very low emissions of harmful gasses. Giant diesel engines will not be allowed to enter such zones due their polluting emissions . Amerika has sworn off non-fossil fuels. They will become isolated, even shunned.
