it's quite faithful to the tone and ideas of Alien at its most controversial - Prometheus, Covenant, and Resurrection. I prefer Romulus, but the show is a great foil to that movie's paralyzing reverence. I find the Peter Pan stuff annoying, but at least its a choice made by a person!

Its ok, the Russos will be back to spoil it soon (if you want some fun tonal whiplash, stick around for the after-credits sequence they directed)

Its conservative in that it is empathetic to these weirdos, but I don't see the movie's ending like some big "America fuck yeah" moment.

My read of ZDT: the trauma of 9/11 turned us into monsters in pursuit of an abstract idea that, in its "best" moment, only offered a brief, dull sense of satisfaction. It ends with our characters empty, sacrificing so much time and humanity for something that means so little.

2 is the most important for understanding what the series is (concepts introduced there play into the latest). It covers the events of 1 in decent detail too. 3 is a fan favorite (9/11 is an actual plot point), but no entry is really more "necessary" than 2.

What kind of executive orders would we get if he watched Sorry to Bother You? Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse? The possibilities boggle the mind.

The imax screen might be fake but the imax sound is very real and powerful (or at least it was at mine).

The weirdly named turn based rpg coming out soon perhaps?

While I get the logic, we've also seen historically "appeasing"Trump has never actually appeased him. Sometimes it encourages him to go harder on compliant targets because he loves fighting punching bags. The incentives seem obvious, but they're pretty illusory too.

Trump might be made of Teflon, but none of his staff ever were. That normally meant Trump could cut and run on those stories with an easy firing, but that's less easy when it's half his cabinet

My go-to rule in adulthood - unless it's a FROM game, if your game is going to take 30 hours or more, I'm playing at least one notch below normal.

But I do miss having the time to really get into the battle systems. Some great childhood memories figuring out how to exploit those...but that's life.

Feels safe in the hands of porno sean. Maybe he'll lend his collection to our international community and finally achieve world peace.

My best read on it is that it's also a knod to what Supermassive did in the fallout of Until Dawn's success - The Quarry and the Dark Pictures anthology series. Less a salute to Until Dawn and more a salute to the library of Supermassive

Good luck! The made-for-tv sheen just tastes terrible to me. Glad for the people loving it and hope you do too!
