The characters were written so well. By the end of the book, it felt like knew them pretty well & had endeared them to me. Also considering that the story revolves around clans, I really like that we get strong female characters, I hope we get more POVs from them in the next book.

What I disliked:
The start was slow for me. I appreciate & love details in worldbuilding but sometimes, it gets too specific. I felt that at some points the book spent too much time on this, rather than spending more time w/ the many characters introduced to make them more endearing.

What I like:
• Map - story goes over several countries and having a map to refer to is just 🤌
• World-building - very descriptive. Sizes, textures, built, etc, I would pause bec. my mind couldn’t help but imagine the details it was describing to me.
