We got Maggie because the rescue lady came and found me and said she looked like our Tibetan so we needs to rescue her • I said Nah, but the lady insisted I needed to meet this dog • she was 11lbs and smaller than the cats when we got her but she’s livin’ large now! The rescue lady was right(!)

I just went to see the Ai Wei Wei exhibit in Bologna.
I’ve been looking at a lot of “famous” Italian art made under autocratic rule — Ai Wei Wei’s exhibition was the first “important” art I’ve seen here that, rather than merely flatter the wealthy, speaks truth to power in a way that lifts us up.
