We did this with our old dog on New Years- put the fireworks on the telly so the dog thought they were coming from inside the house. Of course she was loosing her marbles in her last year or two...

It’s sometimes like dog owners are as poorly socialised as their dogs! 😅 my mum and I once stood well off the path with our post surgery dog to avoid someone, and they just kept coming towards us with a lab on a stretchy lead saying “it’s ok he’s friendly.” 🤦‍♀️
