In the printed photograph that is the main focus of this image, I'm 6 years old standing on a frozen pond, backlit by the setting Sun. Wearing a pink jacket and mittens, my arms are outstretched, almost shrugging, and my head is cocked, lips smirking: I'm unaware of my "christchild" resemblance. Frozen footprints surround me, and my shadow extends to the foreground if the image. At least two rainbows are among the lens flare features. Is this the largest hummingbird ever? Although it may look like a popular fluttering nectarivore, what is pictured is actually a beautifully detailed and colorful aurora, complete with rays reminiscent of feathers. This aurora was so bright that it was visible to the unaided eye during blue hour...

work in progress: blue and white embroidery floss woven into a wide friendship bracelet. The dark blue is a diagonal stripe in the center, starting at the top left corner. There are some rows of stitches that gradually change color from blue to white. The bracelet is not nearly complete, and the working strings frame the stitched part on either side, loose and wavy. The bracelet is on a soft, gray-purple blanket background.
