Just watched the press conference and he sounds like a man very confident of not losing his job. The board are bold, if nothing else, going down this road.

That era of it - 92/93 - was great. Kelvin Andrews and Pete Bromley as residents. Lovely moment in time. Properly positive atmosphere.

I think those thinking the board will pull the trigger are wide of the mark. Aside from anything else, they must be terrified of messing up the next decision too.

I think PAFC will stick to their guns and simply hope that January recruitment plus returning injured players will get us - and TC - out of the rut. The 3rd goal yesterday (in particular) should have been enough proof of how busted we are throughout the entire staff.

Agree with most of it but not about Ibrahim. Thought he might be a bit more developed than he is - not there yet for such a key role.

Mitchell is a beast - in a good way. Thought Wiredu played well and Sorinola showed great energy. Good to see him last the distance. Tolaj with 3 decent efforts - he is going to be a handful for defences. Shame about Pepple’s miss after a lovely pass from Watts. Encouraging display across the squad.

I like that we only have one loan player at the moment. Spine is starting to look decent when Hazard is back, though would like another goalie in. Boateng has been a real plus. Not convinced by Ibrahim yet - what is he? More to come from Amaechi and Mumba needs to fire. Finn needs to be rationed.

Rooney was a ridiculous appointment but our on-the-field problems run deeper than him.
Club is still in a good place off the pitch and I maintain that £6m+ for MW will look like daylight robbery in a season or two. Just have to hope Muslic has more than is currently on display.
