We signed this joint letter calling on the UK Government to rethink measures banning refugees from becoming citizens based on how they arrive in the UK. We fear that these measures will have particularly detrimental impacts on people who are stateless.

Between 2-8 February, @iom.int Libya reported the "interception" of at least 790 people.

So far this year, 2,398 people were forcibly returned to Libya, where they face:
❌ Detention
❌Shootings
❌Abuse of basic rights
❌Sexual Violence
❌Forced Labour
❌Other violations
