del Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación, y del Convenio entre PROMOTUR Turismo de Canarias con el CSIC, la ULL-FGULL y la ULPGC.

It wasn't easy, it is a beaked whale! These are deep diving odontocetes common around the Canary Islands

Almost, these are their 'cousins', the beaked whales!

And the answer is... (some of you got it right!), from the Family Ziphiidae, the goose-beaked whale (𝑍𝑖𝑝ℎ𝑖𝑢𝑠 𝑐𝑎𝑣𝑖𝑟𝑜𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑖𝑠)! 🐳🐬

Ziphiidae are Odontocetes with their dorsal fin located posterior than that of dolphins (on the 2nd third of the body), small pectoral fins and a peculiar melon and snout!
