Oh snap, that reminds me I used a RadioShack aux jack to power my diy EL-wire lit helmet for night riding! Maybe not post-worthy, but they're certainly a good (cheap) tool to have in your belt for disconnecting three to four poles, and can be harvested from a wide variety of things.
