My Bumble profile includes that I'm a relatively recent widower. I've had a couple of women match, send me a message saying how they couldn't connect with me because they'll never mean as much to me as my dead wife and then ghost me/unconnect. Truly weird behaviour.

If we're deliberately avoiding finding out about the unintended consequences (have our heads buried deep in the sand), then we probably could be held responsible.
