I use SoundCloud, and what I do is I make curated playlists for adventures where each song is for a different area, character, or encounter.
I then put the songs on loop like a video game.
One neat thing this allows is giving sets of things a motif by grabbing songs from the same source.

I like to ask for a roll and then tell them anyway. If they get high enough I might even give them extra info (nudging towards potential ideas), but the most important stuff is free

Yessss I love magic items with special functions
My favorite part about them is that they're helpful for organizing a party of specialists, so that everyone has their own "Thing" that sets them apart
One of my favorites is a "Wind up" hammer that you can charge up to make the next attack deadlier.

New character, Peli Canter the Leco Rouge. Her gimmick is being able to attempt to steal something valuable from nearby enemies (and friends)

New character, Peli Canter the Leco Rouge. Her gimmick is being able to attempt to steal something valuable from nearby enemies (and friends)
This phase lasts 2 rounds, and if the players don’t find a way to break their fall in time they will surely die.
In the final phase they’re battling in the volcanic basin and the boss has attacks from both phases. It also adds in environmental challenge from the new arena (5/5)
