RPG gamer.
That is how i have run them. Leap top PC, PC becomes prone, ghoul is standing adjacent.
I also imagine that if they leap over the front line PCs and land on a PC that has no free adjacent space that the ghoul is standing in the same square as the PC and they both take bane on their next actions

Nice review. I haven’t picked it up yet. I’ll have to check my budget at the end of the month.

Good question. Though my adventure idea stalled out, it is something i think about. In a perfect world I ( the director) am introduced to the villain, their main goal and their personality. Then the adventure is the first pass guess as to players choices and villain reactions.

But now after everyone is getting the hang of things, players are synergizing, everyone is engaged all the time and some crazy cool moments are happening. Find a group that has the patience to learn and the game will reward you.

Can't please everyone. And not everyone is going to like every game. Learning a new game especially a non d20 fantasy is rough. For your notes Draw Steel combats take about as long as other games. And my first combat took ages as well as everything is new.

You did it in the wrong order. First you create the Kickstarter then you Draw Steel. Sorry those are the rules. 🤷🏻

Woot!!! Congrats!

If you are staying in world. I feel it could be cool that the PCs can just use couriers to send build requests and obtain items. The idea that their contacts and followers span towns is cool. Soon they could have a large network

I hope so, my last negotiation ( the one that prompted me to make this) was great despite me needing to lean on a fellow player to look up some rules. With this sheet it should go even more smoothly! Best of luck to you!!

I sincerely hope you get an opportunity to not just play draw steel but for you to be able to play it enough to unlock cool aspects of it that you had not thought about in your initial understanding of it. It is a game with subtle depth.

I was not expecting the negotiation and needed to rely heavily on a player who also runs his own game to pull up the rules. Even with this extra slowness of getting the mechanics right, the negotiation was still organic and entertaining. My wife who normally hates being the party's 'face' loved it

I am loving it. Combat crunch, rules light on weapons and inventory things, skill challenges done right (montages), solid rules for negotiations. And a crafting system that works.
