He looks like a Gestapo guard happy to unalive them.

You’re making cool art. I’m hoping it helps in these crazy times.

Ok. I don’t find myself on Bluesky much. I never really got Twitter and I don’t really get this. So I’m still on FB fighting the fight being all noisily Pride and trying to spread Heather Cox Richardson to all who will read her.

I swear apple just lets their code slip on syncs. It’s a multi step process to get stuff from my pc to my phone. I don’t want Apple Music. I have the large storage on my phone so I can have all my music with me all the time. Apple you suck for this.

lol. Fact!

I would never ask to destroy a display. That is cool, though.

How big are those vertebrae and do you ever take one? And could I reimburse you for mailing me one 🤓

I hate the idea of getting dementia (it’s in my family) and my doc sister in law says the treatments are generally no good and that exercise daily is key to prevention.
April 23, 2025 at 12:24 PM
Agreed. It’s a terrible disease. And brain plaques in dementia may be an autonomic similar process and not from an external prion. It certainly seems hereditary. But I don’t have studies in front of me.

Never enough
April 23, 2025 at 12:18 PM
Lol
April 23, 2025 at 12:17 PM
It’s tough bc the prion proteins often look just like normal ones we naturally make. The prion just acts like a seed crystal that leads to these plaques in the brain resulting in mad cow, scrapie (sheep) Creutzfeld-Jakob (humans)

Don’t eat brains or spine. 2/2

Prion disease is a big deal in the pharma industry (mine). We have to certify that all of the bovine resources used to make growth media are free of them. 1/2

I’ve heard their history before. Always worth resharing. Especially now.

Back when I used to go to church, our lady Priest at the Episcopal church mixed some of the ash from Mt St Helens in with palm frond ash for Ash Wednesday services. That was kind of cool. As were the little emeralds formed in the pyroclastic explosion she had.

Good teaching example of bacterial flagella.
