Native American Heritage Night and our new city court. I like it. 🌩️🆙
The new City Court for the OKC Thunder. The court is divided diagonally with a pointed tooth like pattern dividing a super light wood colored floor from a honey colored wood floor. OKC in the middle is in the old Native Thunder blocky font from 2018. White letters outlined in dark blue and then orange. The paint and surrounding the floor is all a dark blue. There are orange state of Oklahoma shapes in the upper right and lower left corners. The striping on the court is turquoise. Each end says “Oklahoma City Thunder” in orange. The Jumbotron says “Oklahoma has the largest percentage of Native American residents of any state in the U.S.”

My son’s Title 1 elementary school celebrated courage, kindness, diversity, inclusion, empathy, and history this morning on Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day here in Oklahoma. Happy to have such a welcoming school that actually upholds the Oklahoma Standard. Blue dots in red state.

My 5th grader’s Title 1 elementary school in Oklahoma celebrated Ruby this morning on Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day. Proud to have a school in OK that champions diversity, inclusion, kindness, empathy, and history. Little blue dots in a red state.

I call all of my maga reps here in Oklahoma daily, both DC and local offices. I called them about the CDC today.
Numbers for Sen Lankford, Sen Markwayne, and House Rep Bice in no particular order. I don’t want their names in my phone so I just use 5calls for the DC numbers and reuse my “recent” call history for the local numbers.

Just finished Lula Dean’s Little Library of Banned Books. It’s a very fun, timely read. Everyone should read it especially in our current times.

Lots of people and some rain in OKC this morning. #NoKings
More people than I’ve seen at an OKC protest! We are across from city hall pushing the walk button for people crossing the street in our thunder hats and shirt and OKC Memorial marathon shirt. We are also very rain soaked. Cardboard sign I brought that says “Taco Bout No Kings In U.S.” It’s extremely soaked from rain but held up great.

We are trying out Loud City Live at the arena tonight. Got tickets for all four of us but the younger one didn’t want to come. Maybe next time. Jumbotron lowered for a better viewing level. Same priced concessions. Lame. But we got club seats so better concessions. Mmm, cake. 🌩️🆙 #ThunderUp
