The other week I had the random thought of “An enamel pin of the Mustard Plug mascot would be really cool for my work apron”. Turns out they sell one on the band’s merch site. My life is complete.

Tonight is Jet Li’s “The One” (2001), a Y2K masterpiece Matrix rip-off. It’s got everything: dated cgi, a nu metal soundtrack, Jason Statham with hair, and a cameo from Breaking Bad’s Hank.

Was recently talking music with an older coworker. He found out I listen to punk, so he gave me this tape he got for free back in ‘92 for a local band. It’s never been played bc he’s a metal head. Now I need to get a working tape deck lol

Tonight’s feature, It (1990), I haven’t seen in like 20 years. It freaked me out so much as a kid, I used to pour shampoo down the drain of my shower in the hopes it’d blind and incapacitate Pennywise. One minute in and it’s already wild seeing it in such crisp quality vs the beat up VHS I had.

Tonight I’ll be watching The Seventh Seal (1957). First time I saw this was in a conference room at the Emerson College library with some friends on a 16mm print.

As much as I hate AI, I did recently use it to create the greatest heel of the Attitude Era that never was: Eg-Regis Philbin. It’s daytime TV meets Monday night Raw!
