I don’t know why I’ve persisted with Twitter so long. It’s so depressing feeling like the odd one out on a platform that was overwhelmingly left wing not long ago. I don’t think it’s ever going to go back to what it was and I think I’ve made peace with that now.

I just watched Extrapolations on Apple TV - I'm surprised by how little credit critics gave it. I think it is such an important show to watch with regards to the ramifications of climate change on the world. Beautifully created and really hits home. Highly recommend it to all.

I always get excited this time of year for Spotify Wrapped… Then I realise most of my top songs are inevitably going to be terrible-but-catchy workout tunes.
(However, this year it’s going to be nature soundscapes since I’ve become somewhat of a meditation addict. Yay for wave, wind & rain sounds…)

Hi all, I have now deactivated my Twitter for ~4 months due to it being overrun by Musk & the right, who have been overwhelmingly bolstered by the former's ownership of the platform. Anyway, I'm now trying to find a platform to reconnect - is Bluesky where most of my fellow socialists are at?

I don’t think Bluesky has a poll feature, so I’m doing it the old-fashioned way:
How many of you, my fellow lefties have deleted Twitter now? I’m not sure why I’m still holding on because it’s so lonely as a socialist on there now.
