Hoping my parents’ hard-earned Social Security, & hence their peaceful Pennsylvania lives, remain intact🤞. But if the worst happens… perhaps they wouldn’t mind the California Sweater Weather when they are forced to move in with me 😹💙

It’s important more than ever to take care of our bodies & minds. A 50-mile Turkey Day bike ride in the CA ☀️ with @redeyedvireo.bsky.social helped break post-election doldrums & build physical & emotional health 💙

Cycling is expensive. I am grateful for the education I received with much help & sacrifice from my parents - a rare opportunity/outcome within a coal mining family. I often think of them while out frolicking on my bike in the CA ☀️ during my time off work💙 with @redeyedvireo.bsky.social
