This article is enlightening! When we go down a path of moral degradation or moral integrity, we get locked into that behavior and keep going in that direction. So MAGA loyalists are pulled in and it’s hard to get out.

SNAP Challenge: $6/day/person. That’s on average what SNAP recipients get. Do your weekly grocery shopping for your family using that budget. Use what you save and donate it to your local food bank.

It’s ok if you find you can’t buy enough. Spend what you need to stay healthy. Donate any way.

Lots of claims being made about who gets SNAP. Look for yourself. It’s eye opening. Each state differs but roughly speaking, SNAP recipients get $6 dollars a day per person. Let that sink in as you sip your pumpkin latte.

I’ve never been a person to outwardly show patriotism. I’ve rolled my eyes at many an overwrought version of the national anthem. But one I’ve learned from the current regime is NOT to take freedoms and the promise of the US for granted. We are seeing how very easy it is to lose those things.

A pretty decent article. I do wish that they would look beyond Multnomah Cty. Portland is more than the city. It’s the whole metro area including Washington and Clackamas counties.
Portlanders mock Trump for calling their city ‘war-ravaged’. But they’re clear-eyed about its problems
