Get away from me.
Some receive forgiveness like retroactive permission for what they did. And then permission for how they’ll continue to behave.

I bookmarked the 24/7 feed on my browser and drop in on random stuff whenever I'm bored. Great way to find something unexpected that you wouldn't think to look for. whatsonnow.criterionchannel.com

Have you ever seen him perform? Total panty dropper. What a charmer.

Bringing fancy French butter (and a baguette) to a party is a lowkey killer move. People lose it for good butter. Could probably even lose their pants for it.

The Draughtsman's Contract is probably my fave, but all of Michael Nyman's music for Peter Greenaway's films is excellent. The music across the Jacques Tati films is also phenomenal.

In anticipation for the movie's release, I made a mix for what I imagined a current day PTA adaptation of Vineland might sound like. Enjoy my best speculative effort if you're in need of some OBAA bonus content. www.mixcloud.com/jessprice/on...

Also, Don Hertzfeldt is an absolute master of using classical music across so much of his work. The Strauss Der Rosenkavalier Waltz in World of Tomorrow is a personal fave.

Good ace stuff? I feel like it's an identity that is more often assumed than deliberately spoken about.

Also a reminder to all who celebrate, today is the anniversary of Trump getting Covid. What a joyous day to remember. May a greater joy be ours soon.

I wonder if he's also addicted to whatever high he got from his Biden should drop out opinion. He may now think (wrongly) that if the people disagreeing with him just wait it out, they'll eventually see he was right all along.

My worry is that, like the MAGA machine, people who should know better will do mental backflips and double down to avoid saying, "uhh, maybe I was wrong." These companies aren't gonna roll back until they're in the death throes of existence. They're gonna scam for every single cent they can get.

And the night of, you have to get your ass there early if you want a good seat. It's almost comical to watch the couples who roll in at the last minute have to find seats apart.
