Today, I had to let my sweet Mocha May go (yes, I gave my dog a middle name). Her health took a sudden turn over the past couple of days, and I had to make the hardest decision I've ever made.

I was so lucky to be her human, and I will miss her terribly.

The top two pictures are of I-26 in Erwin, TN. Helene has severed both Interstate routes between TN and NC.

He declared a state of emergency a little while ago, later than it should have been but better than never.

LOL, I'd love to know more about this person and why she was not able to get a job in any other Congressional office.

Maybe political opponents shouldn't commit crimes if they don't want to be prosecuted.

Again, it's hard to read this in good faith. It's so divorced from actual reality.

I read this, and it's even worse than the headline. She discusses political violence without mentioning January 6, and it's hard to think that's not on purpose. Not sure what this example actually means, but I think it's probably a reference to protests.

Honestly, kind of amused that this gag from SEC shorts at the end of the season before last is the subject of a lawsuit.

Please join me Wednesday at 1 p.m. ET for my talk on policy and local news. I'm presenting an overview of bills that have been introduced in state legislatures since 2017, along with analysis of trends in proposals and challenges to passage and impact.

Why does Google keep doing this? Not even being snarky about Mississippi State. I just do not understand why so many results from UNC's website are labeled as Mississippi State.
