Wow, looks amazing!

I love that the artist has given the angel wings that look to be modelled on a real bird's wings - I wonder if anyone would recognise a specific bird or if it is an imaginative interpretation 🤔 ?

That's a lovely tradition to have.

I loved them - a mix of quick sketches and more finished work, all felt very fresh and immediate with a wonderful sense of movement and light. Here's a snap of a more detailed painting, closer in tone, I think, to some of the works in oil.

Bonus cat picture - unexpected animals in paintings are a subgenre I very much enjoy.

I loved this too - I came to it after reading a lot of very, very, very bleak post-apocalyptic fiction and found it so refreshing.
