This should be his last semester teaching. He should wrap up his class(es) because otherwise that would create a lot of work for somebody else, but it’s shameful to have a known predator on campus in a position of power.

4 easy miles today 🏃♀️ it’s so windy today! Need to start thinking about cold weather running gear, particularly gloves that will keep my hands warm but also wick sweat…weirdly two of my fingers stick together while running and they sweat, and it’s mad annoying lol.

The emails have Summers reporting to Epstein about his attempts to date a Harvard economics student & to hit on her during a seminar she was giving.

Tested out my new headlamp on my quick ~3 mile run tonight. Felt like an angler fish. Very nice to have an illuminated path ahead of me instead of feeling my eyes strain.

6 miles done ✅ ordered a headlamp to wear on my night runs as it gets dark earlier. Also it’s time for a fresh pair of shoes…who said running was a cheap sport??

Super pleasant hour long run this evening 🍂 it really smells autumnal outside. I’m curious to see if running through the colder months cures my seasonal depression 😬

Half marathon complete! I have lots of thoughts and am eager to write something longer, but to suffice it to say, I’m grateful my body carried me through this process without injury. Running long distance has changed my brain for the better and I can’t wait to take blissful runs in the cool weather.

Longest run of my training block ✅ The cooler weather made this so much more enjoyable. I took four very brief walking breaks every 30mins, just long enough to have my gels and water. The half is almost here!!

Long run this week sucked!! Didn’t get to do the path I planned on so I improvised. Ended up with a hilly route with no shoulder on the road so I was dodging cars most of the time. Also felt very fatigued. But it’s done ✅

Speed and tempo intervals today with one-minute walking recovery breaks. I’ve gotten speedier 🥹 Loving track workouts because they allow me to hyper focus on form, plus I don’t have to think about obstacles or which direction to go.

Second 10-miler run 🚀 Much better pace than last time, and felt much better too. I think this is because I slept well last night for once. Onward!

Pace was worse than my last few long runs, felt pretty bad and couldn’t get my breathing under control, too many hills. Alas, got it done.

Getting into the double digits 🙌 I walked way more than I wanted to. Didn’t sleep well last night because I was stressed about this lol. But it’s done ✅ Interestingly, pain in my body is cycling through different areas—this time my shins/calves don’t hurt but my hips do 🤷♀️

Getting into the double digits 🙌 I walked way more than I wanted to. Didn’t sleep well last night because I was stressed about this lol. But it’s done ✅ Interestingly, pain in my body is cycling through different areas—this time my shins/calves don’t hurt but my hips do 🤷♀️
Love how dumb my path looks when I’m running loops on the track. Also, very funny that as I was doing these speed intervals, I felt like I was flying. Then I checked my average pace after and it was like 11:30 🫠 oh well, at least I felt good?

Really proud of this one 🥲 8 miles in the heat. I used a lot of goofy positive self talk to get through it.
