I had the honor of meeting Dr. Tim Greenamyre. I’m inspired by his optimism regarding LRRK2 inhibitors for PD. His work shows that even those without the genetic variant could benefit from therapies that reduce LRRK2 activity. And, as a PwP, he has a unique perspective that is very rare.

Just had blood drawn at my longitudinal COVID-19 research study at Emory. Been participating for 5 years and it was just extended another 5 years. I’m part of a special cohort of 127 active participants that had the original COVID-19 virus (all pre-Delta). Very unique group, and honored to help.
