Painted Chasm is a gorge in created from melting glacial waters eroding a lava plateau over a 10 million year span called the Chilcotin Plateau Basalts. It is located in south-central British Columbia, Canada.

The Ladner Creek Trestle was part of the Kettle Valley Railway, with the purpose to link the Okanagan, Boundary and Kootenay areas of B.C. with the coast by rail. It was abandoned in 1961. The tunnel portion after the trestle was decomissioned.

At the juntion of these two water ways, the vibrant turquoise waters of Seton Lake meet the silty brown currents of the Fraser River, creating a striking contrast. This is mile '0' of the old Cariboo Wagon Road in Lillooet, BC.

This Quesnel Bridge, which spans the Fraser River in Quesnel, BC, was originally built in 1929 as a railway bridge. After being decommissioned, it was restored and reopened in 1992 as a pedestrian bridge.

The bridge is lit up at night making it enjoyable to walk day or night.

Established in 1881, the Gang Ranch is one of BC's oldest and most iconic cattle ranches. Once spanning over 1,000 sq mi, it played a vital role in BC's ranching industry. The Gang Ranch Bridge is a steel bridge, built in 1948, that crosses over the Fraser River.

Glacier-carved rocks are formed through the relentless movement of glaciers, which scrape and scour the underlying bedrock. As glaciers advance, they pick up rocks and sediment, using them as abrasive tools to carve and polish the surrounding landscape.

The Teslin River Bridge, in Teslin Yukon. Originally, the river was crossed using a ferry or makeshift rafts. In 1950, a wooden bridge was constructed, facilitating travel and trade but was prone to flooding. In 2008, a new, modern steel bridge was built.

A Canadian CL-415 collided with a drone over Los Angeles January 9, 2025. The waterbomber was seriously damaged when it collided with a drone. The plane ended up with a hole in the leading edge of its left wing. It is grounded indefinitely.
