Very interesting to hear all other scientific analysis of the masked skulls. We hope this multidisciplinary team continues to further study this interesting population and their cultural significance.

Viv is a second year PhD @ljmuofficial.bsky.social @facelabljmu.bsky.social presenting some results from her fieldwork from Bolivia. Their project aims to produce representation of ancient Bolivian faces, through participatory co-design, involving local communities in the decision making process.

We have a whole session on the overmodeled skulls tomorrow afternoon at the World Mummy Congress! Not only facial depictions, but all other scientific analysis of the remains.
