Well my presentation went well. No questions at the end which is either really good or really bad.

Rehearsing my presentation on trans care for the provincial electrologists convention tomorrow and power point is saying the terms I use under "don't use these terms" are problematic. Yes that's why they are there.

Sure volunteering to be a model for people learning electrolysis gets you some free work but a week without shaving sucks. Got to that terrible slightly itchy and velcro like level.

Asked to do a presentation education at the provincial electrolysis convention. Excited to actually use my degree.

Plus side of have a crippled knee is great parking spots and priority plane boarding.
Still would be better to not have a crippled knee.

What's weird about Canada is that I'm boarding a 4.5 hour domestic flight.

Customer was at the front desk and I came from up stairs. She looks at me and says "you're the Instagram guy".
So I learned that we need to diversify the staff in social media posts and I am not passing. Both are known points.

I thought it was satire but nope some how the Enola Gay is flagged for DEI removal. This is who we are dealing with? Actually insane.

War heroes and military firsts are among 26,000 images flagged for removal in Pentagon's DEI purge
References to a World War II Medal of Honor recipient, the Enola Gay aircraft that dropped an atomic bomb on Japan and women and minorities are among the tens of thousands of photos and online posts m...

I finally got around to updating my license from X to F today. Could have been done a year ago but just didn't feel like it and today I did.

There archive is transferred over and I'm up and running.

Today is not a great mental health day. Not even sure why it just isn't.
March 5, 2025 at 11:22 PM
Finally figured out how to transfer who I am following over to here.

So how are the Maga rolling coal crowd dealing with Tesla's now?
February 25, 2025 at 3:10 AM
I did a weird thing and used faceapp to reverse my gender. It recognized me as female, cool, and then I applied male filter. And it's a pretty accurate representation of what I looked like. Oddly that look seems to alien now.

Hello bluesky. Just switched over from the other place and reminded that change is hard no matter what.
February 11, 2025 at 3:27 PM
Fuck it, I am done with M. Tired of having it around, not sure if I am ready for F all the time but I am definitely done with M.

Do all bras in the same band size have the same width of cups? So does 38 a, b, c, and d all have the same width of cups but more fabric in the cup?
I was just wondering and finding the answer is hard.

I'm pretty sure the trans women are men crowd would be very offended if one were to walk around topless.
Just a hunch.

Something that should make dysphoric but doesn't, my voice. I have an ideal radio voice. A voice that makes women swoon and men inadequate. After teaching all last week I hit Leonard Cohen level.
Makes me self conscious but not dysphoric.

Having pronouns on your email signature are very helpful and supportive. Though mine are a bit more of a mess since it would he/her/his/hers. I mean I don't want to put down either or.
