Yes, they did, however, we are all going to be suffering together. I don’t want that for any of us. Also, I live in this dark blue county.

We have interesting supervisors and I have actually voted Republican at this level in the past. But overall? They do a good job. We share funds with poorer counties. I work at the hospital serving Iowans. I love this state even though it’s harder and harder to watch politicians hollow it out.

I live in Johnson County and the rest of this state hates us. They need us but they hate us. The state government is trying to dictate how we elect our county supervisors (for only four counties) and wants to ban the use of Economic Development funds in the three blue counties in the state.
