Such an amazing time at Sam Winston’s artist talk and workshop! His work in Out of the Ordinary is incredible, and it was so cool to see his process of making inks from found materials. We even got to try some drawing, writing, and breathing exercises.

Love a morning talk with the Griffith Park Great Horned Owl. I like to tell strangers that seeing one is good luck. So are deer and coyote. Not sure if it’s true. I made it up. It makes people smile though. #italktostrangers
