I didn’t write yesterday. In the past, I would’ve been very hard on myself, afraid I’d lose momentum on whatever project I was working on. This morning, I wrote 1,488 words. You'll never lose momentum if you trust your connection to your story and understand that a day or two away won't derail you.

After this morning’s writing session, I surpassed the 10,000-word mark! 🎉 As my therapist mentioned when I told her about this story, it’s literally “pouring out of me.” In some sessions, it flows faster than others, but it’s coming out, and that’s all that matters. #writing #amwriting #writerslife
