Saw something that said her brother is separated from the mother and trying to get custody so… if that is correct then yeah absolutely.

Add in 3 cats and substitute pottery for half-finished craft projects & a stack of family history research paperwork. I feel seen 🤣

Watched it yesterday - I love GDT films generally but this was something else. Beautiful art direction, clever and nuanced acting, an entrancing couple of hours.

Do love a good crumpet with lots of butter.

I don’t know who she is (I’m British) but she sounds like an 8 year old. A presumably professional woman saying ‘so there’, seriously?

Dunno - I very nearly died of severe pneumonia in 2016. Sorry that’s probably not helping. Hope you feel better soon.

To explain - Prison and gaol / jail are all the same in the UK. We have different security levels and categories but the meaning is the same.

Christian fundamentalist who hates modern pagans even more than Islam. Suspect he’d like to bring back burning at the stake.

Beautiful kitty. I’d call him Hugo (after the 2011 film). It’s in the eyes.

Explain to me how he’s allowed to do this like I’m British and we have a plethora of laws protecting our historic buildings.

It is a great film. Always surprised it didn’t get a better reception.

Don’t blame her - I’m a middle-aged, white British woman and I won’t visit my family in the US.

Loved Chicago when I visited from the UK - one of my favourite cities.
Took the train in from the airport (everyone told me to get a cab) and morning runs round the lake shore.
Everywhere has its problems but as a solo white female traveller never once felt unsafe.
Good luck to you all 🇬🇧 🇺🇸

It’s a toxic hell hole, best avoided.

My Gen Z boys are 19 & 21 - decent, respectful, kind, funny, employed / studying, over 6’, genuinely like women, support equality and hate the podcast manosphere stuff. Both are single. The dating ‘process’ for their generation seems to have become horribly complex and toxic.

Thank you 🤩

Both would be great - thank you so much ☺️

It was quite physical - we did Olympos the day after, much easier going, though hotter. Def worth a return trip. The Amphitheater is something else.

Also for people with obviously similar interests (I found you by searching Perge 🤣) but not the academic background where in Greece would you recommend please that aren’t the normal top sites?

We just found the same plus Museum of Antalya randomly ‘temporarily closed too’ - hope you made it to Termessos, we loved it there.

Yes definitely noticed that in the last week or so
