I also like his question about whether LLMs being primarily for linguistic generation prevents us from being able to make the same separation we do for people between what they say and their internal states

Ah I forgot about that one. I should read it again.

This one on silence is both insightful (sort of a more accessible version of what certain philosophers and historians have written about) and misdirected at the same time in that it takes its argument too seriously). But worth checking out

It’s about how post modern art, art cannot ’speak’ as it once did (though Agamben’s Man Without Content is a better reference on this). She talks about how Wittgenstein, Rimbaud, & others deliberately stepped away. A theme very close to my heart bc I once did the same, though getting back to it now
