I wrote a scene for my mystery novel in which the fictional detective went to get tacos al pastor and horchata with really spicy salsa, and then I realized halfway through writing it that *I* actually wanted to eat those tacos, so I went to my fave taqueria and my fictional food became my lunch.

I cannot wait for this gorgeous book by one of my IRL besties, a lawyer who decided to write a romance for fun during the pandemic and wrote a fabulous book that is going to be a bestseller. Smart fun books ftw! (Also, yay for seeing this thread over here, thank you!)
