This year’s Lower School faculty Halloween theme: Art. Happy Halloween from Georgia O’Keefe’s piece, The Red Poppy. It was fun to make! And yes, I know Halloween is actually tomorrow. Central Ohio is weird and trick-or-treat is tonight, so we celebrated at school today as well. 🎃👻💀

I’m so excited to share the cover for my next book, So Rude! Animals Behaving Badly. Audience: K-3

March 14. 3.14. Pi Day, Albert Einstein’s birthday, and exactly one year from the phone call that set me on this path. Had to commemorate it. Thankful for friends who share their costumes! #einsteinfellows24

I just wrote an article on the origins of the Christmas Bird Count, the longest-running citizen science project in the world, for the Library. When I saw that @dcbirdalliance was holding their count today, I had to join in! It was a beautiful morning at Battery Kemble park and we saw 19 species!
