Here it is in June 2024 not long after I brought it home. It grew steadily but slowly for several months until moving inside to the grow tent and being repotted at which point it exploded despite neglectful fertilizer habits.

CalCarn gave it the name based on the curl at the end of the leaf. Mine lost some of the curl over winter but it's starting to reappear.

I was never able to wake mine up. After like 2 years I tried sticking it in my terrarium because I got tired of looking at it and expected it would either wake up or rot and it chose to rot, lol. I'll try again some day.

What an unexpected thing to be tagged in! I took those in 2023. The nearest caprifig I've found is 4 mi (6.4km) away. I doubt someone is intentionally growing caprifigs near me and mine haven't fruited yet so there must be another wild tree close by because my figs are definitely getting caprified.

It's so pretty! I always take a thousand photos of mine when it blooms 😂
