Anaemia affects nearly 2B people, yet most countries are far off track to meet targets. Our new Lancet Haematology Commission calls for better data, stronger governance, and realistic goals (12–22% reduction by 2030 vs the current 50%).

It's fun to read one's older published papers. This one, written in 2011, articulated the notion that nutrition, agrobiodiversity, & environmental sustainability are interrelated, aka “econutrition.” We were not the first to write about these relationships & certainly not the last. shorturl.at/Hv5CX
