Also I'm finding that at least with Rust and Gemini 2.5 experimental it's able to handle the debt out creates for much longer than expected. It's still going strong on github.com/jessebmiller... which is getting pretty hefty

Volition is very new so let me know if you need help setting it up, it's not the easiest right now but I'll walk you through it if you want.

It's an open source CLI agentic coding assistant, built in Rust, and it's made me, no exaggeration, 10 times more productive.

I've been using Gemini 2.5 experimental (which is still free) and it's not had any of the scaling issues I've had with other tools like cursor.

I think we're saying the same thing.

If you can keep the field green and the debt low, ai coding will make progress super fast. Then the engineers deal with the debt again.

That's the job.
