The rumors of not focusing on big power for the PS6 gen, or at least having the dual sku approach like Xbox did this gen would be great. Most games do not need top of the line hardware to run.

The 'AI always bad no matter what' contingent is one I both understand and wish would look into things more sometimes.
It's a difficult, nuanced discussion where some major league shitheads have poisoned the discussion around it with their generative theft slop push.

The 'AI always bad no matter what' contingent is one I both understand and wish would look into things more sometimes.

If you're focusing on hardware only then yes they are down, because they've stopped shipping systems since late 2023 after buying ABK.
They shifted from a growth focus to a margins one, and hardware margins are terrible. Their overall revenue has only gone up.

My original point is that Sony has been in the cloud game longer, has more history with it, so it's not shocking that they can get something like this setup. I keep seeing people saying "day one" when it's like year 14.

ignore reality to say all 'AI' bad? I can't imagine another reason to push like this. Generative AI slop built off of stolen IP is bad. That is not what is used in ARC Raiders.
