It's easy, just plug up a USB c data cable and plug into your switch. I know it works because I've taken it between devices it's not synced to. Just be sure it's in switch mode before you plug it in.

You can use the 8bitdo m30 pad in wired mode. It feels like a Saturn pad and is now the only way I play fighting games.
