I'm not saying that facts don't matter--they do. But assuming you can logic your way to getting people to vote for you has been a losing strategy for quite some time now.

If people FEEL that grocery prices are high, telling them inflation is down misses the point. If someone says they're struggling to get by, telling them wages are the highest they've been in 40 years is almost insulting.
