Have fun!

but that is why its important to learn to have fun in those moments and be goofy and silly sometimes. Voice acting is a great joy and learning how to step back and get back into the fun is super important for anything in life.

4.) Learn to have fun - I see so many times folks get stressed and nervous about acting. But the most important thing with this gig is to have fun.

Sometimes that takes effort to learn to find the fun in things that make us nervous. Its okay to be nervous and anxious to start

that we aren't prepared for. We never plan to get injured mentally or physically but we should be prepared for this to happen. So ensure you have healthy outlets and are mentally prepared to go into acting.

helps a ton with making it real. But these can be demanding on the body. So having a healthy body can be a great start to ensuring a strong performance.

Mental health is also vitally important. Voice acting can bring you into weird mental places. You have to tap into emotions

3.) Health - Voice acting can be tiring. So being physically healthy can be important. Learning healthy habits like being hydrated, sleeping well, exercise can all benefit your emotional state as well as your endurance while acting. Being able to add physical action to acting

But you will save yourself a ton of hassle and time by learning how to properly research and search.

Also its great when you are working on learning a character because sometimes finding information about an environment or learning about history can build on a character.

You can learn a ton just going on the VAC Discord and using Discord's search feature. Need a mic? Search recommended mic and voila you will see tons of answers.

Learning to find correct information from experts independently is vital.

Its fine to ask questions

2.) Research - Being able to research and find answers to things on your own is vital and will save you a ton of time and headache. Just make sure you are searching in the right places.

Search Engines, Discord Search bar, Reddit search.

Many questions have been answered

1.) Reading - By far one of the most important things to have as a voice actor. You will be reading scripts, casting docs, contracts, agreements, NDAs, etc etc...

Being able to read and comprehend these things is vital to succeeding as a voice actor.

Practice your reading

Haha no problem. Information empowers. I appreciate it too when folks like yourself work hard to bring entertainment into the world.

Being an indie dev can be tough so if we voice actors can help we are always glad to. Guys like Kit too are awesome for helping haha

The best thing to do to be fair is
