Our family was thrilled to see the snow today!

Glad that Toronto is so responsive, since our neighbourhood has a lot of folks with mobility issues and many seniors.

What a lovely winter day. And so early, too!

Taking off from Lille, they'll travel way too far, using way too much effort, and not eating enough baguettes or cheese.

Good news for Ontario's Safe Injection Sites (SIS).

Our society needs to keep places like this open to help people struggling with substances to inject cleanly and start the road to recover, rather than inject with dirty materials and stay hooked on the substances forever.

Compassion wins!

Friends are in Paris celebrating their 20th anniversary...however, their real mission (as tasked by me! Lol) is to take photos of the incredible Parisian cycling infrastructure.

And the photos they're sending me on a daily basis are so satisfying!

No school this week so a couple kids came over for Nerf wars, refried rice & veggies and perogies, and now watching Lego Movie 2. Pretty good March Break, I'd say!

The work of the Ontario NDP is to paint a better reality, to show a better way, to lead with hope, and to help the afflicted. It isn't glorious work, putting up signs, but it is necessary work if only just to point out that there really is an alternative to Doug Ford.

Here's hoping in Willowdale.

With 160+ other faith leaders from across Ontario, I add my voice in urging Doug Ford to immediately stop the Highway 413 project and removal of Toronto's bike lanes, which will harm the already fragile environment, splinter neighbourhoods, endanger cyclists, and promote car-dependency in Ontario.

Our pup, Rufus, graduated puppy training school. Barely. Trauma from his previous family plus a love for playing with other dogs (especially those smaller than him) meant that puppy school was a challenge. But he made it! Now he comes when he's called about 25% of the time, which is better than 0% 😀
