$9.79 for a pound of ground round? $21.00 for a large one topping pizza? I thought this stuff was going to be taken care of on Day One?

Just got back from a week in Paris with the family and I am so impressed at the attention to quality food that is evident in most places. Ultra processed food is so inexpensive and easy to get here, sadly. We can do better with effort.

I am going to honor my annual commitment tomorrow and not buy anything. If we truly understand what Labor Day means we won’t do anything that causes anyone besides first responders and hospital personnel to have to work. No shopping! No dining out!

The Florida Panthers won their second straight Stanley Cup and virtually no one here in West Palm Beach seems to care. When the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl they shut down the schools and the courts and added more trains. I love the weather here but miss Northern sports passion.
