Agreed. Unfortunately when comparing Rail & Bus costwise there is only one winner. I think we're very lazy in NI about how we get from A to B. It can be turned around however but there needs to be a political follow through.

The old BCDR network was very uneconomic and would have required major investment and even it wouldn't have been cost effective against bus travel. Also a lack of large towns and industrial hinterland. Most of the rail network in Ireland faded away at the same time.

Still very warm presently, average day temp in Sept will still be around 15 degrees. Night frosts start in Nov but rarely exceed 5 degrees below zero. Atlantic water temps keep Ireland snow free.

It's Trump setting these tariffs, he doesn't seem to have taken much notice of the WF, curiously it puts NI in a slightly favourable position compared to the EU but the Americans essentially don't want our business.
