Partly, this is why I won’t able spending Christmas with blood family this year. I’m going to be spending Christmas with my chosen family. It’ll be the first Christmas where I can just exist and not worry about what I’m saying.

I can’t explain the collar around my neck because I’m then told that “we don’t want to know about your fetish”. If only they knew that it’s so much more than that. It’s sad, but I’m sadder for them - they won’t know the closeness and the authenticity I get in my life.

As a result, I’ve grown estranged from much of my blood family. I can’t show them art I make for school, because I get *comments*. I can’t talk about my relationships, because I am then told that they don’t want them around.

Mashed potatoes and the rolls for me- they’re basically something that happens year round and like the Mac, I feel they’re heavy. (But without any real value imo)

I could give up both beef and pork, but I just can’t rid myself of the chicken or seafood/fish. I already barely eat beef as is— I used to eat steak and such, but I kinda quit.

It took me way too long to catch up; but way back I had this friend. We had a sleepover. Apparently they had a mission that night to teach me how to be a “real girl”… I only today understand all of the crap behind that and other stories like it.

The main reason I don’t have one is because I have no one to sit for it— having a dog is almost exactly like having a child in that way. Even finding someone to come feed the cat is challenge sometimes 😆
